Energy Conversion Devices Inc. (ECD, Rochester Hills, MI) announced the promotion of David Strand to Vice President, Information Technology. In this position, he will also have the business responsibility for ECD's new state-of-the-art 10,000/1,000 clean room fabrication facility while continuing his work in the optical memory area, including his present leadership position in Ovonic Media LLC, a joint venture between ECD and GE Plastics, a division of General Electric Co. (Fairfield, CT).
