DTE Energy Technologies Inc. (Farmington Hills, MI) and Silicon Energy (Alameda, CA) are offering commercial and industrial customers a way of managing distributed generation resources through the implementation of DTE Energy’s energy|now system operations center.
“As demand for electricity increases, distributed generation is rapidly becoming an alternative for cleaner, more reliable energy,” said James Gariepy, vice president of information technology for DTE Energy Technologies. “Our customers needed a comprehensive management system for aggregate and site level to individual units, and Silicon Energy's technology allowed us to do that.”
