Cherry Semiconductor Corp. (East Greenwich, RI) has opened a West Coast design center. The new center, in Irvine, California, will focus on design and development of power management offerings in support of the company's Computer and Industrial Business Unit. The design center will be managed by veteran analog designer Dan Agiman and will be operational next month.
