C&D Technologies Inc. (Tucson, AZ) announced that it has completed the acquisition of Datel Inc. (Mansfield, MA). Included in the acquisition is Datel’s 180,000 ft² headquarters in Mansfield, along with sales offices in Europe and Asia, and a research and development facility in Shanghai, China. Datel will be integrated into C&D’s Power Electronics Division, headquartered in Tucson. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings and aligns with C&D’s plans of growing both by acquisition and organically.
