BCcomponents International BV (Eindhoven, the Netherlands) announced the expansion of its production capabilities for manufacturing electrolytic aluminum screw terminal capacitors in Europe. The move will see the production of screw terminal electrolytics expanding at the BCcomponents facility in Zwolle in the Netherlands.
Screw terminal capacitors manufactured in Zwolle will now offer capacitance ratings from 470µF to 680,000µF and case sizes from 35mm x 50mm to 76mm x 146mm. Products will include the company’s 125 Series of long-life parts for high-end industrial applications operating at up to 100V and 125 degrees C, and the 105 and 106 Series featuring ratings from 10V to 450V and suitable for high-performance applications operating to 105 degrees C. The 85 degrees C 111 and 112 Series with voltage ratings from 10V to 450V and lifetime operation in excess of 300,000 hours (40 degrees C) will also be produced at the facility.
