Azure Dynamics Forms Global Advisory Board

Azure Dynamics Corp. (Vancouver, BC) announced the formation of the Azure Dynamics Advisory Board, which will advise the board of directors and report to Chairman and CEO D. Campbell Deacon. In addition, its resources will be available to the management and employees of Azure.

"Azure has already proven its technology will have a measurable benefit for climate change in postal delivery vehicles and is moving rapidly towards production," stated Deacon. "Azure's new advisory board will ensure Azure continues to have the best available manufacturing, safety, technical, marketing and industry advice as we seek to revolutionize the commercial vehicle sector."

The advisory board will be chaired by Nigel Fitzpatrick, a founder of Azure Dynamics. In addition to Fitzpatrick, the initial members are Colin Besant, president and CEO at Turbo Genset Inc.; C.C. Chan, Honda chair of engineering and head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the University of Hong Kong; Piotr Drozdz, Azure's founding vice president of technology; Michel Gou, professor at the Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal; Michael Heffring, a former tenured associate professor of marketing at the University of Calgary; Roy Poolton, an independent consultant on manufacturing to Inalfa UK, Fiat, the UK Ministry of Defense and the Canadian Department of Defense, Bosch, Penman Specialist Vehicles and Brambles; and Edwin Riddell, director of Enova Systems Inc. (Torrance, CA).
