Astec Power and Bell Microproducts Ink Agreement

Astec Power (Carlsbad, CA), a developer of battery-free, power quality products, and Bell Microproducts, an industry supplier to OEMs, system integrators, VARs and resellers, have announced the signing of a strategic distribution agreement. The agreement authorizes Bell Microproducts to represent, design-in and promote the complete product portfolio of Astec’s power conversion solutions throughout North and South America.

According to Greg Hester, Astec’s vice president of sales for the Americas, "Adding Bell Microproducts is expected to greatly enhance our Channel Sales strategy and expand our customer reach by targeting customer segments that are new for Astec. Bell Microproducts is very strong in the embedded computing and sub-system storage markets, and they provide all the value added solutions expected from one of the industry’s best and largest distributors."

According to George Papajohn, senior vice president of marketing for Bell Microproducts, "Access to Astec Power is a big win for our customers. The Astec portfolio fills a significant need and it aligns extremely well within our overall strategy of representing the best-in-class suppliers. Astec products and power supply technologies provide the key building blocks required to complete the total system level needs of our customers."
