APT Announces Newly Formed Organization

Advanced Power Technology Inc. (APT, Bend, OR) will be announcing the formation of its newly formed organization and brand, Advanced Power Technology RF (APT-RF), which is the result of the integration of the RF businesses of APT and the two recent RF acquisitions of GHz Technology Inc. (Santa Clara, CA) and Microsemi RF Products Inc. (Montgomeryville, PA).

APT-RF plans to becomes the world leader in noncellular/PCS high-power silicon RF and microwave power transistors. APT-RF will expand VDMOS products for a broader coverage of HF and VHF ISM and communication applications; expand LDMOS offerings into noncellular/PCS CW and pulsed applications for VHF, UHF and microwave; and continue to offer leading-edge bipolar performance in HF, VHF, UHF, avionics, L-band and S-band applications for frequencies up to 3.5GHz.
