September 15, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Anderson Power Products (AAP, Sterling, MA), a leader in developing power interconnect solutions for backup power systems, electric vehicles, UPS systems, telecommunications, and high-technology device industries, announced the opening of two Asia Pacific facilities: one in Shenzhen, China, and the second in Shatin, Hong Kong.

Anderson’s Asia Pacific facilities are intended to meet the regional design, development and sourcing requirements of its global customers. The China facility will support the design, manufacturing, assembly and distribution of APP products, while the Hong Kong facility will serve as APP’s regional administrative headquarters and logistics hub.

President Jim Colony stated, "We are very excited to establish these facilities to better serve the expanding markets in this region. Our Asia Pacific customers will benefit from localized engineering design, product, development, manufacturing and logistics support for all of the APP products that they have come to depend on."
