News Oct 09, 2007 by Jeff Shepard

APC-MGE issued two separate announcements regarding the formation of alliances with STULZ GmbH and Lee Technologies.

In the first announcement, APC-MGE and STULZ have agreed to team up to deliver what is described as comprehensive, integrated data center cooling solutions and services. Under the agreement, APC-MGE will add an APC branded perimeter cooling solution manufactured by STULZ to its comprehensive cooling offering, currently lead by its high-density InRow™ offering. STULZ will be able to offer APC’s InRow™ cooling systems to its extensive customer base. Both firms will provide full application engineering support for these solutions and APC-MGE will offer services, including maintenance services, through STULZ service partners. Initially this agreement will cover select countries in Europe with the intention to expand globally.

The second announcement revealed that APC-MGE and Lee Technologies are forming an industry alliance designed to serve the growing data center market. Lee Technologies will provide APC-MGE products and systems as part of its core offering, expanding the breadth and scope of Lee Technologies’ data center solutions. As a reseller of APC-MGE products, Lee Technologies can now provide its customers across the U.S. with APC’s InfraStruXure® architecture for data centers that includes APC’s InRow™ cooling solutions. InfraStruXure integrates power, cooling and systems management software in a rack-optimized design.
