AnalogicTech and Siliconix Settle Patent Litigation

Advanced Analogic Technologies Inc. (AnalogicTech), a developer of power management semiconductors for mobile consumer electronic devices, and Siliconix, a subsidiary of Vishay Intertechnology Inc., announced that they have reached an amicable settlement of the patent infringement lawsuit brought by Siliconix in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. The lawsuit, filed in January 2004, related to alleged infringement of three U.S. patents pertaining to trench DMOS technology.

Under the terms of the settlement, details of which remain confidential, the companies agreed to dismiss all claims and counterclaims in the litigation. Both companies will continue marketing their respective trench DMOS product lines. The settlement will have no material impact on AnalogicTech or Siliconix.
