AMIS Offers AMIS-52000 Evaluation Kit

AMI Semiconductor Inc. (AMIS, Pocatello, ID), a leader in the design and manufacture of application-specific integrated circuits, announced that its AMIS-52000 Evaluation Kit is now available for low-power wireless applications.

The Evaluation Kit for the AMIS 52000, formerly known as ASTRX2, is comprised of hardware, software and documentation needed to allow users to evaluate communication and power conservation of the highly configurable device. By configuring the on-chip registers, the user is able to observe the flexibility of the AMIS-52000 product and also emulate their own application requirements. The AMIS-52000 is a versatile 433.92MHz narrowband RF transceiver chip optimized for low-power applications where long battery life is required.

AMI Semiconductor is currently shipping the AMIS-52000 Evaluation Kit, which is priced at $349.
