Alpha Technologies Ltd. announced that it has completed the acquisition of the PowerWorx line of power distribution products from CommScope Inc. The PowerWorx line augments Alpha's broad range of power system and distribution solutions, providing customers with a one-stop shop for all dc power and distribution needs.

Alpha can supply the complete end-to-end dc power system solutions for the central office and critical facility market. PowerWorx® products fall under the category of “secondary power distribution†for telecommunications networks. The product line consists of a variety of fuse and circuit breaker panels.
As networks and the variety of powered network devices grow, so does the need for reliable power distribution and protection in multimedia broadband networks. The PowerWorx power distribution products have been engineered from the ground up to properly protect and distribute power to valuable, revenue generating network equipment.
