October 20, 2021 by Hailey Stewart

Here’s what to look forward to at Infineon’s virtual conference tomorrow.

At its annual OktoberTech conference, Infineon will host talks with a plethora of leaders from both Infineon, Volkswagen, Google and more. The fifth-year conference will take place virtually for the second year in a row.

The free conference features presentations from top executives in the technology space and a product and solution demonstration area.

Dr. Reinhard Ploss, Infineon Technologies AG CEO, and Bob LeFort, Infineon Technologies Americas president, will both kick off the event with a virtual keynote Thursday morning at 12 p.m. ET. Ploss and LeFort will speak to Infineon's business, technology and how the past year has helped the company "reimagine innovation."

OktoberTech will also focus on a live panel discussion about “Why Your Innovation Matters” starting at 2:20 p.m. ET. This session will dive into opportunities for solving climate change through sustainable energy generation — one of the pillars of Infineon’s environmental sustainability efforts.

This live discussion will include:

  • Andreas Urschitz, Infineon AG’s  president of Power and Sensor Systems
  • Topher White, CEO and founder of Rainforest Connection
  • Karen Roter Davis, Director of Early Stage Projects with X, the Moonshot Factory.

The full lineup of events can be found on Infineon's website. To join the event, visit Infineon’s registration page.
