Zhongxu Microelectronics Offers HDC Sensors

New Products Dec 19, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Nanjing Zhongxu Microelectronics Co. Ltd. (China) introduced its new HDC Series Hall-effect current sensors, which are utilized to detect dc, ac, pulse and irregular currents. They exhibit high accuracy, fast response time, high linearity, low power dissipation and high overload capacity, as well as high reliability and long service life.

Current-monitoring applications include those in energy-management systems, motor overload protection devices, semiconductor-protection circuits, automatic-control systems and telecommunications equipment.

The sensors accept a nominal input current of 25A, 50A, 100A, 300A, 500A, 1kA, 1.5kA and 2kA. The measurement range is from 0A to 100A, to 0A to 3kA, and the supply voltage ranges from ±12V to ±15V. The dielectric withstand voltage is rated at 2.5kVac. The devices are specified to operate from -10 to +70 degrees C.
