UNIPOWER Presents PCL/TPCL Series Power Supplies

UNIPOWER Corp. (Coral Springs, FL) announced its new PCL/TPCL Series of Quick-Set PowerCassette® supplies that are also "instant" custom units, with outputs factory set to a customer’s requirement by means of miniature, internal switches. The series has up to two high-current outputs (dual main) and up to three lower-current outputs, plus a 5V, 250mA standby output. Outputs may be chosen from 1.8Vdc, 2.5Vdc, 3.3Vdc, 5Vdc and 12Vdc. The series produces up to 800W total output and comes as either a hot-swap or chassis-mount version. Power density is up to 5.9W/in³.

The PCL/TPCL Series incorporates internal cooling fans and has a single, pluggable connector. Other features include an input-voltage range of 85Vac to 264Vac, power-factor correction, single-wire current sharing, output OR-ing diodes, remote sensing, adjustable output voltages, no-load operation, over-voltage protection, over-temperature protection, and front-panel LED status indicators. Input and output monitoring features are also incorporated for integration with the customer’s system.
