Tripp Lite Offers New Modular Rackmount UPS System For Mission-Critical Applications

Tripp Lite introduced its new 3000VA/2U SmartOnline Rack/Tower UPS system which provides power protection for IT applications where space is limited. Requiring only 2U of rackspace, it is said to support data centers, VoIP systems and other mission-critical equipment through all power problems. The SU3000RTXL2U UPS system also features optional economy mode operation to reduce power consumption and BTU emissions.

Key features and benefits include: provides 3000VA/2500W capacity in just 2U, economizing on valuable rackspace; optional 97%-efficient economy mode operation reduces power consumption and promotes cooler operation; true on-line double-conversion operation with pure sine wave output and zero transfer time isolates connected equipment from all power problems; USB and DB9 communication ports, SNMP slot and included PowerAlert software provide complete power network monitoring and control; and expandable runtime with optional external battery packs to support the most critical loads.
