Tripp Lite Introduces 8kVA SmartOnline Hot-Swappable Modular UPS Systems
Tripp Lite has introduced three new 8kVA SmartOnline™ Hot-Swappable Modular UPS Systems (Models: SU8000RT3U, SU8000RT3U1TF and SU8000RT3UHW). The company claims that its hot-swappable design eliminates power-related downtime and ensures maximum uptime for connected equipment, allowing end users to perform all potential UPS maintenance – including complete power module exchange – without interrupting the flow of power or hiring expensive service specialists. Model SU8000RT3U features 200-240V input and output, and model SU8000RT3U1TF includes a transformer module for additional 120V output. Model SU8000RT3UHW features 200-240V hardwire input and output.
"The new 8kVA SmartOnline UPS Systems reflect our continuing commitment to provide enterprise customers with the highest level of network availability," said Rich Feldhaus, Tripp Lite Product Specialist. "SmartOnline Hot-Swappable Modular UPS Systems virtually eliminate power-related downtime, making them ideal for protecting data centers, wiring closets, IDFs (intermediate distribution frames) and other business-critical enterprise applications."
The foundation of the hot-swappable design is said to be an innovative power distribution unit (PDU) that manages all input and output power connections and incorporates a manual bypass switch. Combined with the dynamic internal bypass feature that keeps power flowing to connected equipment in the event of a component problem, the manual bypass feature of the PDU is claimed to enable UPS system maintenance and component replacement without power interruption and costly downtime. Additional features include expandable runtime, cost-reducing user-service options, flexible outlet configurations, remote management capability and N+1 configurability for efficient fault tolerance.
The new UPS systems are in stock and available for immediate shipment.
