TRACOPOWER Releases DIN Rail Power Supplies with ATEX Certification for Class 1, Zone 2

TRACOPOWER has extended it's TSP Series of rugged DIN Rail Mount power supplies to include models with certification to European ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and to ANSI/ISA 12.12.01 standard for equipment intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

TSP-EX models are qualified to meet to IEC/UL 60079-15 for operation in class l, zone 2 applications. There are 10 models available ranging from 78 to 600W with 12, 24V and 48Vdc output voltages. The supplies feature an operating temperature range of –25 to +70°C; built-in over temperature protection; diagnostic output and external shut down are standard features; high immunity against electrical disturbances; rugged metal case; and vibration / shock proof construction. These features qualify the TSP series as a true industrial power supply for operation in harsh factory floor conditions. With auto range input and an international safety approval package including CB scheme, EN/UL 60950-1 and UL508 for industrial control equipment, these innovative power supplies are qualified for global markets. Units are in full production with deliveries available from stock to 8 weeks.
