Sorensen Debuts DLM 600W Series Power Supplies

June 02, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

The Sorensen division of Elgar Corp. (San Diego, CA) announced that its DLM 600W Series now comes in three high-voltage models: 80V, 150V and 300V to test a wide range of components, printed circuit boards and electronic equipment. The DLM Series are claimed to be the smallest 600W power supplies available with a chassis that is 1.75in high (1U) and 8.5in wide.

The DLM 600W high-voltage programmable dc sources provide voltage outputs of 0V to 80V, 150V and 300V with output currents from 2A to 7.5A. The auto-ranging ac input requires no user setup for either 90Vac to 132Vac or 180Vac to 264Vac, single-phase input with a universal frequency range of 47Hz to 63Hz.

The DLM 600W Series features power-on, output-on/off, local/remote, voltage and current preview, and over-voltage protection. The fault-detection circuit monitors the condition of the logic power supply and the output converter driver for both over-current and over-temperature. The DLM models conform to the CE safety and EMC standards and have UL and c-UL listing.

Prices start at $1,199.
