Rohm Co. Ltd. (Japan) debuted its RF073M2S (0.7 Type A) and RF103L2S (1.0 Type A) recovery diodes that are designed for use in power supply blocks of electronic devices, including plasma television sets. With a dielectric strength of 200 V, the products have a switching speed of 9 ns and a maximum reverse recovery time of 20 ns.
The new products feature a reverse breakdown voltage of 200 V, and are available in packages of PMDU (RF073M2S) and PMDS (RF103L2S). The diodes ensure the low dissipation of power supply circuits and suppress heat generation. Both devices are priced at $0.27.
