Phoenix Contact has rounded off its range of connectors for photovoltaic applications. The new, compact Y distributors enable you to group together current paths in photovoltaic systems efficiently.
In combination with string fuses or diodes, inputs of string combiner boxes (SCBs) and inverters can be assigned twice, thereby reducing investment and installation costs considerably.
The Y distributors are suitable for nominal currents of up to 40A and voltages of up to 1500V (UL: 1000V). The components are designed for protection class IP66/IP68 and can be used in a wide temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees C.
