Powerbox (Sweden) announced the new Hyperion Series, a 100W power supply with active PFC and high frequency. Powerbox's new unit has full output power and convection cooling at 40 degrees C ambient temperature. It features front-edge technology, 87 percent efficiency with 12V output, and a 3" x 5" footprint.
The CE-marked Hyperion Series meets the requirements for class A to D applications in accordance with the new EMC legislations EN 61000-3-2. It also meets safety standards UL1950, RFI/EMI FCC Class B, EN55022 Class B, EN61000-3-2 Class D, EN61000-3-3, EN50082-1 1997, and EN55024 1998.
Powerbox's new Hyperion Series is suitable for use in 1U telecom and datacom applications.
