Power Sources Unlimited 30W External Power Supply Meets CEC Energy Requirements

Power Sources Unlimited announced the TRG30R series of 30W external power supplies, which the company claims meet the July 2008 Level IV, global energy requirements of the California Energy Commission and Energy Star in a compact 4.24" x 2.27" x 1.32" package. Interchangeable ac input plugs make the TRG30R a suitable choice for products designed for worldwide use.

The TRG30R series has a 90-264Vac input, and offers fully regulated, single output models ranging from 9 to 24Vdc. Standby power consumption is less than 0.5W and efficiency is 75% typical. The operating temperature is 0 to +40°C, with derated power through +60°C. No minimum load is required. Ripple and noise is specified at 1% peak-to-peak maximum and units feature comprehensive protection circuitry. Units are RoHS compliant, and are approved to worldwide 60950 safety standards and Class B radiated and conducted EMI performance.

The TRG30R is priced at $20.00 for OEM quantities, with delivery from stock to 8 weeks ARO.
