Power-One Debuts MPB125-4350R Power Supply

Power-One Inc. (Camarillo, CA) introduced the new MPB125-4350R, a 125W ac/dc power supply providing remote on/off functionality. The remote on/off is controlled via a TTL-compatible signal or simply by shorting two connection points, and eliminates the need for an ac on/off switch. Primary applications are networking, communications and automatic test equipment.

The five outputs of the MPB125-4350R are rated at +3.3V at 10A, +5.0V at 15A, +12V at 5A, -12V at 0.5A, and 5V (standby) at 0.2A. The power-dense product provides efficiencies as high as 85% from a compact, 1U-compatible, 3.80in x 5.00in x 1.25in (97mm x 127mm x 32mm) package. Additional features include remote sensing for the +3.3V output, over-voltage protection on V1 and V2, a power-good signal, and EN61000-3-2 compliant power-factor correction. Regulatory agency approvals include UL60950, CSA 22.2 No. 60950, and EN60950-1 (TUV).

Pricing starts at $165 each in quantities of one to nine. Evaluation units are usually available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in 6 to 12 weeks.
