Phihong (Fremont, CA) has begun mass production of a wide variety of Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) solutions, including single-port injectors, DIMM power modules, multi-port midspans and power supplies with integrated PoE. The company has also made compliance with the new IEEE802.3af international standard a priority in the development of the product line.
The product line includes the PSA16U, a switching power supply that fully complies with IEEE802.3af; DIMM power modules for implementing 8 to 48 ports in IP phone systems, switches and blades; power supplies with integrated PoE; multi-port midspan power injectors that offer full 15.4 W per port; and the PSA19U and PSA29U high-power, one-port injectors.
