Newhope Debuts SLPB Series Lithium-Poly Batteries

Newhope Electric Vehicle Co. Ltd. (China) introduced the new SLPB Series of lithium-polymer batteries, which feature a nominal voltage of 3.7V and are designed for use in portable devices such as mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players, CD players and digital cameras. The batteries are available with capacities ranging from 0.57Ah to 2.5Ah, and require a maximum charging current of 1CmA.

The devices have a maximum discharging current of 2CmA and a discharging temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. The polymer batteries are available with thickness ranging from 3.5mm to 5.2mm; width of 34mm or 64mm; and length of 56mm, 62mm or 95mm. They weigh between 12.8g to about 53.5g.
