Moltech Power Systems Introduces New NI2040A17 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack

Moltech Power Systems (Gainesville, FL) has expanded its power options for portable electronics with its newest lithium-ion standard battery pack. The NI2040A17, a 10.8V lithium-ion standard battery solution, expands Moltech's range of battery packs compatible with System Management Bus (SMBus).
The NI2040A17 pack is made up of nine 18650 lithium-ion cells with electronics that communicate with the host device. These communications provide access to such information as remaining run time, state of charge and temperature. Moltech claims that the pack has a capacity of 5,000mAh and offers users over 300 cycles.
The NI2040A17 battery pack is currently available.
