Micrel Announces the MIC861 Operational Amplifier

Micrel Semiconductor (San Jose, CA) announced the MIC861, a 650kHz, rail-to-rail output, operational amplifier that operates from 5V down to 2.7V supply while consuming 4.6uA. It is packaged in Micrel's Teeny SC70-5 packaging, which Micrel reports is approximately one-half the size of SOT23-5 packaging. The device is suitable for use in portable equipment, including cellular phones, PDAs and MP3 players.

The MIC861 is priced at $1.02 in 1,000-piece quantities. Samples are available immediately, and production quantities are available in eight weeks ARO.
