Lambda Adds AC-DC Supplies the Deliver 200W of Peak Power
Lambda, a unit of TDK Corporation has introduced a series of 200-watt peak power supplies with an integral variable-speed, temperature-controlled fan. An extension of Lambda's high-technology NV-175 family, the single and multiple power supplies are suited for a wide range of applications where system airflow is not available and, because of their low audible noise and compact size, for medical, light industrial, test equipment, and data communications applications.
Rated to operate from a 90Vac to 264Vac input, the versatile NV-175 is available with one to five outputs, voltages from 0.9V to 28V, and output currents up to 25 amps, depending on the output configuration. Models with the high-power 12V and 24V main channel can deliver up to 200 watts peak for one minute to drive power hungry motors and pumps.
Units with the integral fan measure just 1.6 x 3.32 x 6.4 inches and can operate at full power in temperatures ranging from 0oC to 50oC, derating to 50% at 70 oC. All NV-175 models carry the CE mark; conform to UL60950-1, EN60950-1, EN60601-1 and EN61010 standards; and meet EN55022 Level B EMI with less than 300µA ground leakage current.
The NV-175 power supplies are available now, priced at $144 each in 100-unit quantities.
