Holtek Semi Offers HT82V733 Power Amplifier

November 13, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Holtek Semiconductor Inc. (Taiwan) introduced its new HT82V733 power amplifier, which operates from a 5V supply and draws 240mA during operation, enabling it to drive low-voltage speakers found in portable audio devices such as MP3 players.

The eight-pin SOP device also has a built-in "silence" function that eliminates sound bursts during on/off switching. The HT82V733 power amplifier dissipates a maximum power of 140mW and has a standby current of 1µA.
