Gresham Power Launches New COTS CompactPCI Power Supply For Military, Industrial & Railway Applications
Gresham Power Electronics announced the introduction of a family of high power density compactPCI power supplies for the COTS (commercial-off-the-shelf) markets. The new Gresham cPCI COTS family is described as an easy to use modular solution designed to function reliably in harsh environments. All models have an operating temperature range of -20 to +60°C and a wide ac input voltage range from 100 to 240Vac or dc input of 18 to 72Vdc (nominal inputs are 24 and 48Vdc). Depending on the requirements of the application the power supplies may be conformal coated, protected against vibration, have extra EMI filtering, custom enclosures including stainless steel and bespoke cooling systems.
A number of the new Gresham COTS cPCI power supplies are already being evaluated by defence contractors and industrial systems suppliers who require the additional features of these new power supplies to ensure reliable operation in harsh environmental conditions.

The Gresham Power COTS cPCI family consists of three models, CPCI-DC-3U-200/24-COTS, CPCI-AC-3U-COTS and CPCI-AC-6U-400-COTS, offering ac or dc inputs in 3 and 6U forms at 200 and 400W output power. No minimum load is required and an I²C data-bus is available as an option. The existing, field proven, standard cPCI range from Gresham consists of 11 high-grade power supplies including the unique 24Vdc input model, offering from 200 to 600W of output power. All are certified to international safety and EMC standards.
