Goodwork Semiconductor Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) released its SMBJ Series of surface-mount transient voltage suppressors, which withstand peak forward-surge currents up to 100 A and have a peak power dissipation of 600 W. The devices have a response time <1 ps and can withstand soldering temperatures up to 260 °C.
Featuring UL 94V-0-rated flame-retardant epoxy, the SMDs operate within the -55 °C to +150 °C temperature range. The transient voltages suppressors comply with MIL-STD-202 Method 208 requirements.
