CyberPower Systems Expands Power Distribution Unit Lineup

October 24, 2010 by Jeff Shepard

CyberPower Systems announced the addition of 24 new high voltage (200-230V) models to its comprehensive lineup of Power Distribution Units (PDUs). CyberPower PDUs are designed and rigorously tested to distribute unfiltered electrical pass-through of conditioned power from a UPS or utility power from a wall outlet to multiple connected devices including networks, servers, workstations and telecom systems.

CyberPower’s new units include both Basic and Metered 0U models for vertical rack-mount configurations, fulfilling the need for the distribution of high voltage output power in demanding, high-density data center environments.

"The addition of these high voltage PDUs to the CyberPower line further demonstrates our commitment to providing data center customers outstanding flexibility, configurability and quality" stated Tim DeRochie, CyberPower’s Director of Product Management. "Since entering the PDU category earlier this year, we have continued to expand and refine our product offerings to match the power distribution needs of IT managers in size, configuration and capacity."

CyberPower’s fifteen new high voltage 0U Basic PDUs provide unfiltered electrical pass-through in versatile 16-outlet (24" chassis) to 38-outlet (70" chassis) configurations.

Nine new high voltage 0U Metered PDUs provide unfiltered electrical pass-through in 20-outlet (48" chassis) to 38-outlet (70" chassis) configurations. The group features 20A and 30A models, each with a front LCD panel displaying the connected equipment current draw for real-time load monitoring. These new PDUs feature a combination of IEC-320 C13 and C19 outlets.

All models in the CyberPower PDU line offer industrial-grade durability and world-class reliability, backed by a lifetime warranty, ensuring years of dependable performance. CyberPower PDUs are designed and rigorously tested to distribute unfiltered electrical pass-through of conditioned power from a UPS or utility power from a wall outlet to multiple connected devices including network equipment, servers, workstations and telecom systems.

CyberPower PDUs are ETL certified and 100% RoHS compliant. RoHS aims to improve environmental conditions worldwide by strictly limiting the use of six hazardous substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). CyberPower manufactures an extensive line of environmentally-friendly, RoHS-compliant power protection products.
