Chroma Systems Announces New Digital Power Meter for AC Power Measurements

Chroma Systems Solutions Inc. announced its new series – the 66200 Digital Power Meter – designed for what is claimed to be highly accurate ac power measurements. The internal 16 bits analog/digital converters are said to provide high speed sampling rates up to 240KHz with great precision. In addition to standard power measurements, the power meters include inrush current, total harmonic distortion of V/I, and energy measurements.

Chroma’s 66200 series is available in power ranges from 1.5W to 10KW, with 24 ranges in all. Instruments include optional remote control using USB and GPIB interfaces via rear panel connections. The 6200 series power meters include 2-shunt designs to provide accurate readings for both low and high current measurements, making it suitable for the most demanding R&D and quality control environments.
