Central Semi Debuts CMPT491E/CMPT591E Transistors

Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced the release of a new complementary pair of 1A high-gain transistors packaged in a standard SOT-23 case. The CMPT491E (NPN) and the CMPT591E (PNP) transistors are enhanced versions of the FMMT491 and FMMT591 devices.
The new devices offer a higher hFE of 250 minimum, while keeping all other specifications equivalent to the FMMT491 and FMMT591 versions. The CMPT491E and CMPT591E are suited for a wide array of high-current amplifier applications requiring a low VCE.
The devices are available in bulk pack or 3,000 pieces on 7in tape and reel. Sample devices are available upon request.
