Ault Presents MW117 6W/12W SMPS Family

Ault Inc. (Minneapolis, MN) announced its new MW117 6W to 12W, universal switch-mode power supply (SMPS) family for the medical market. The Ault MW117 power supplies are suitable for powering medical equipment, including insulin pumps, hand-held glucose monitors and heart monitor chargers, as well as a broad range of cutting-edge home health care products.

The MW117 family meets cULus2601, TUV/IEC601-1, Australian and Japanese safety approvals. The CE-compliant, desktop-style MW117 is available in eight models, ranging from 3.3Vdc to 24Vdc with a universal input voltage of 100Vac to 240Vac. Each model in the family complies with EMI/RFI regulations. Measuring 3.33in x 1.83in x 1.25in (85mm x 47mm x 32mm), the MW117 is compact and lightweight at only 5.5oz (155g).

The MW117 is priced at $7 in OEM quantities of 1,000 pieces. Modified and custom options are available of the MW117 family as well as higher-volume pricing for standard models. The family is available now based on standard lead times from Ault's factory in China.
