Astrodyne’s Miniature AC-DCs Deliver a Regulated 15W

Astrodyne Corp. introduced the ASL 10/15 series of ultraminiature open-frame switching supplies that deliver up to 15W at 3.3 to 24V for regulated board applications. The universal ac-dc supplies are also available in a medically-approved version (ASM series).

The supplies, available in 10 models, feature a typical line regulation of better than 1%, load regulation of ±3%, and ripple and noise of 100 mV p-p (typical). They include an input filter, power-good LED indicator, output-adjust potentiometer, and short-circuit protection. These supplies, with single-sided construction for added reliability, are rated for full output over 0 to +50°C without forced cooling. They're fully approved to EN60950/UL1950 safety specs. All models use Molex style I/O connnections.

The supplies, measuring as small as 2.28-by-2-by-0.66 inches (LWH) for the 10W versions, are priced starting at $29 each in OEM quantities. Delivery is stock to 2 weeks ARO.
