Astrodyne Pacific Releases MSCA-5001 Power Supplies

Astrodyne Pacific Corp. (Taiwan) released its MSCA-5001 ac-dc switching power supplies, rated at 5 W, which offer a single output of 5 V and feature an input-to-output isolation of 3 kVac. The products accept universal input of 85 Vac to 265 Vac, 40 Hz to 440 Hz, and withstand surge currents up to 20 A (100 V) or 40 A (200 V).

The ultra-miniature models offer a ripple of only 0.1 V (peak-to-peak), a hold-up time of 30 ms, efficiency of 75%, and an operating temperature of up to 50 °C.
