APS Releases CEC/Green Power Compliant 24-48W Desktop Power Supplies

Advanced Power Solutions (APS) announced the release of the APS42EG Series of CEC/Green Power Compliant Desktop Switching Power supplies offering 24 – 48W of Power measuring only 4.33 x 2.28 x 1.27". These supplies are suitable for applications in any mobile electronic application such as LCD monitors, notebook computers, networking, printers, test equipment, and much more.

These external/desktop power supplies feature universal ac input with single outputs ranging from 12~24Vdc. These supplies consume less than 0.256W of input power under no load conditions to comply with CEC/Green Power initiatives. Packing up to 48W in only 4.33 x 2.28 x 1.27", these supplies are said to provide an uncommonly high power density with other standard features including 2 and 3 prong ac inlet options; Over-Voltage Protection; Over-Current Protection; and Short Circuit Protection. These supplies are safety certified to UL60950-1/TUV EN60950-1 and bear the CE Mark (Low Voltage Directive) for applications throughout the world with FCC/EN55022 Class B Emissions. For greater flexibility, these supplies may be configured with a wide selection of standard dc output connectors.
