Anderson Power Products® Offers Multi Axial Rotational Connector

Anderson Power Products® (APP) announced the release of its Multi Axial Rotational Connector (MARC). Suitable for medical and mobility applications, the MARC is designed to mate while traveling through an arc with a 3-inch minimum radius. The MARC is rated to 30A while combining power, signal, and ground circuitry into one package.

Featuring 8 Powerpole circuits integrated into a blind mate housing, the two row horizontally oriented connector uses what the company claims is its industry leading flat wiping contacts and can be configured with 8 standard length contacts or 6 standard length and 2 pre-mate ground contacts. The UL listed MARC features mechanically keyed housing to ensure proper mating and enables rotational blind mating with approximately .090 inches of error correction.

The MARC is rated to 10,000 mating cycles and constructed of a chemically resistant PBT plastic, which the company claims makes it extremely rugged and durable.
