Anderson Power Offers SBE 700 Connector

Anderson Power Products (AAP, Sterling, MA), a leader in developing power interconnect solutions for backup power systems, electric vehicles, UPS systems, telecommunications, and high-technology device industries, introduced the new rugged SBE®700A connector. The SBE 700 is designed for high-current, high-speed charging, making it suitable for "opportunity charging" applications. The genderless connector is hot-pluggable and contains space for up to 10 individual auxiliary signal lines for communication and signal requirements.

The SBE 700 is capable of 10,000 mating cycles. The self-aligning connector features high-performance copper contacts and is engineered for use with standard 4/0 cables. APP designed the SBE 700 with flame-retardant UL94 V-0 material, and a manual release mechanism is available for permanent installations.
