Aimtec Offers 60W AC-DC Converter with Small Footprints

Aimtec announced that it has expanded its ac-dc product line with the addition of the AME60Z series. The four models in this series provide highly protected, regulated and isolated (input-output isolation 3000Vac) output voltages of 5, 12, 15, 24V, allowing the AME60Z series to meet a wide variety of applications including computer boards, small motors, battery chargers and solenoids and pumps.

Packing 50 to 60W of output power in one of the smallest, PCB mount footprints of just 4.3 x 2.24 x 1.50 inches, the AME60Z series high safety standards include EN55022 class B and EN55024 with cULus and CE approvals and full RoHS compliance. The robust design of the AME60Z series allows it to operate at an efficiency rate of >80% within an operating temperature range of -25 to +70°C and is equipped with a V-out trim feature (±10%), making it highly compatible for a multitude of design requirements while at the same time reducing design costs.
