Absopulse Introduces 40W, Industrial Power Supply for Fan Drives and other Applications

Absopulse Electronics Ltd. announced its MIW40 Series universal input power supply that utilizes field-proven technology and optimized magnetics to deliver 40W at 12 or 24Vdc. It can be powered from any ac-input voltage from 85 to 264Vac or any dc-input voltage from 100 to 360Vdc. Developed for fan-drives in large control systems, the MIW40 is also well-suited to a wide range of industrial applications.

The MIW40 is an open-frame design measuring 3" x 5" with a maximum component height of 1.5." It weighs 0.5 pounds (0.2kg). The unit is convection cooled and rated over a 0 to 50°C temperature range without de-rating. It features full electronic protection and input/output filtering to meet EN55022 Class B EMI. The MIW40 is designed to meet international safety approvals including IEC950 and CSA22.2.950. Options include ruggedizing and conformal coating for harsh environment applications and enclosure in a 3.4" x 6.1" x 1.9" vented chassis.
