97% Efficient IP67 LED Drivers with up to 660Vac Input and 800W Output
The "ICE" family of LED drivers from GWP-Powerland Technology Inc., a division of FSP-Powerland, is an ultra-high-efficiency LED driver series. The output is programmable and wire-controllable through optional Bluetooth or ZigBee.
ICE LED drivers are targeted toward outdoor lighting such as horticulture, fishing, sports, and other outdoor LED applications.
Powerland's patented energy conversion technology boosts the efficiency to 97%. Plus, the driver has a long lifetime of 70,000 hours at the operating temperature of 75°C. The company builds these LED drivers with an ingress grade of IP67, and they feature all-around protections including short circuit, over-voltage, over-temperature, and 5.5kV/11kV lightning protections.
Specifically designed for North America's high AC input applications, the "ICE" family of drivers offers various input options with 108Vac to 305Vac, 240Vac to 382Vac, 277Vac to 460Vac, and 305Vac to 660Vac.
With a 108Vac to 305Vac input voltage range, the ICE-305 series has an output power up to 720W. It features both constant current and constant voltage mode programmed through either wire or optional Bluetooth/ZigBee wireless connections.
Powerland claims that it is the only driver series in the world that can deliver either constant current or constant voltage from the same unit. The ICE-347 series covers input voltages up to 382Vac and has an inherent efficiency as high as 97%. With a 240mm x 123mm x 54mm size and 2.9kg weight, Powerland says it is the smallest and lightest driver for 347Vac input applications.
Powerland designed and manufactured the ICE-400 series for EU applications. With 600W/720W output and 277Vac to 460Vac input capability, it also features the high efficiency of 96% at 400Vac input applications.
The ICE-600 series has a 305Vac to 660Vac input and power rating of 600W or 800W. According to Powerland, it is the only series in the world that can operate 600Vac applications. This capacity ensures unparalleled reliability and robust endurance in the most severe grid situations, compared with other state-of-the-art 480Vac LED drivers.
The drivers have output currents of between 6.8A and 30A depending on the model.
