600- to 650-Watt Medical AC-DC Switching Power Supplies
Protek Power North America has announced its new PM651 Series of 650-Watt medical ac-dc switching power supplies. The PM651 Series is available in either u-channel style or enclosed with cover/fan.
The enclosed version has dimensions of 8" x 4" x 2.6" and can deliver up to 650 Watts with 30 CFM forced air cooling. The u-channel version has dimensions of 8" x 4" x 2.58" and delivers a maximum 380 Watts with convection cooling.
The PM651 Series accepts an input voltage range of 90- to 264-Vac and offers a choice of twelve single output models with voltages ranging from 12- to 58-Vdc. All models feature BF rated output, 1,500Vac from output to earth ground which simplifies the customer's isolation needs, 100- to 240-Vac input with active PFC, less than 300µA leakage current, a standby output 5Vdc at 200mA, inhibit - TTL high to disable output, EN55011 Class B conducted and radiated emissions, 5,000-meter altitude for use in mountainous regions while maintaining safety, and 100% burn-in at full rated load.
All models are tested to EN55011 Class B emission limits and comply with worldwide safety standards (UL 60601- 1, CSA C22.2 No. 60950-1, TÜV EN60601-1), and are compliant with RoHS requirements.
