5-Watt Single, Dual, and Triple AC-DCs Operate to 70 C

Aimtec has released of a wide range of 5-Watt ac-dc power converters that offer unique features to suit different customer applications. The AMEL5-CJZ, AMEL5-JZ, AME5-CJZ and AME5-JZ series of switching power supplies are offered in a variety of individual packages. Output types include single, dual, triple and asymmetric separated dual output within the range of 3.3Vdc to 24Vdc.

These converters are available with universal inputs of 85- to 264-Vac, 47- to 63-Hz or 120- to 370-Vdc or 85- to 305-Vac, 47- to 63-Hz or 100- to 430-Vdc, within (50.80 x 25.40 x 15.16mm or 2.0 x 1.0 x 0.6 inches) or (48.5 x 36 x 20.5 mm or 1.91 x 1.42 x 0.81 inches). Designed in a PCB mountable encapsulated package, the series offers I/O isolation of 3000- or 4000-Vac.

These ac-dc power supplies are available with operating temperature ranges of -25 to +70 degrees C or -40 to +70 degrees C with derating, depending on the specific model. They have a no-load power consumption of ≤ 0.3 watt and efficiency up to 83% which meet or exceed the requirements for Energy Star compliance. These power supplies are UL listed.

The AMEL5-CJZ, AMEL5-JZ, AME5-CJZ and AME5-JZ series are well-suited for a wide variety of applications, including industrial control devices, test and measurement equipment, telecommunications applications and consumer electronics products. In addition, the series meet EMC class B and IEC 61000-4-2, -4-3, -4-4, -4-5, -4-6, -4-8, -4-11 for easy integration in a wide range of controlled, non-life support devices, instruments, and equipment applications.
