12W CVCC LED Power Supply in Size of a Matchbox

FuturoLighting introduces a compact power supply in IP67 protection. This compact power supply offers long life time and reliable operation due to carefully selected principle and long life reactive components. Power supply is based on switching IC from ST microelectronics, which involves primary side regulation operating in CVCC mode. This means user can directly connect LED string to FLPS12 without need to add secondary driver to keep LED current constant, as well as use FLPS12 as constant voltage source with thermal protection and no load consumption below 0.3W.

These convection-cooled flyback power supplies operate over an input voltage range of 190- to 265-Vac, 47- to 60-Hz and have a power factor greater than 0.4 at 230Vac. With a 24Vdc output, these units support a constant current of 0.5A for an output power rating of 12W. They are over 83% efficient at full load and are rated for operation up to 45 degrees C. They measure 35 x 49 x 16 mm and weigh about 59 grams.

Target applications for FLPS12 are outdoor / indoor LED fixtures, automatization, smart home systems, alarms, chargers, and many others where overall size matters.
