100W Non-Isolated DC-DC Converters with Standard DOSA 1/32nd Footprint

November 15, 2019 by Paul Shepard

Delta Electronics, Inc. has introduced the T31SN series of non-isolated dc-dc converters with wide range adjustable output voltage (3.3- to 16.5-V or 5- to 30-V), which deliver up to 100W output power, and a maximum of 8A output current. The power conversion efficiency is as high as 98%. The footprint of the converters follows the DOSA 1/32nd brick standard.

A wide input voltage range (9- to 53-Vdc) allows the series to be used in conjunction with 12-, 24-, 36- or 48-Vdc sources to generate multiple additional regulated outputs. High efficiency and extreme low power loss allow the series to operate in a harsh temperature environments.

Multiple packaging optons (open frame, potting with standard case and flanged case) and pin (through hole and surface mount) allow the series to be used in a wide range of applications, such as medical, communications, industrial, test and measurement equipment.

The T31SN modules include remote on-off, output voltage trim and remote sense pins. The series comes with a host of industry-standard features, such as input UVLO, over-current and over temperature protections. All models are certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60950-1 & 62368-1, 2nd edition.
