Vicor Corp. (Andover, MA) and its subsidiary, VLT, announced that it has entered into a patent license agreement with Siemens Corp. (New York, NY).
Under the license agreement between the companies, Siemens has acquired worldwide, non-exclusive rights to use power-conversion technology covered by Vicor's reset patent, US Patent Re. 36,098. The reset patent enables the design of smaller and more energy-efficient power supplies.
